Sia i nastri mono che quelli stereo di "The Book Of Taliesyn" sono stati mixati, ma da quando la band si è trasferita da Parlophone non hanno rilasciato in mono e i nastri non sono stati utilizzati in quel momento. L'album originale è stato registrato presso De Lane Lea Studios, Londra in agosto e ottobre 1968 e è stato rimasterizzato agli Abbey Road Studios di Londra nel 2000.
